I am currently creating a 28mm Seven Years War British brigade using Scottish (or North British to use contemporary parlance) units.I have painted the 2nd Battalion 1st Foot, Royal Regiment, 21st Royal North British Fusiliers, and the 42nd Royal Highland Regt. The 2nd Royal North British Dragoons and the 25th (Edinburgh Regt are next on the agenda as well as the artllery battery of Forbes McBean.(Click on the photos to enlarge)
This is the grenadier company of the Black Watch circa 1759 (they were awarded the title Royal in 1758). They were made using 28mm Front Rank miniature Jacobite rebellion Government Highlanders and the heads of Front rank AWI Highland grenadier troops, worth the effort I think.
